中国科学院成都生物研究所成立于1958年,是以一级学科建所的国立科研事业单位。成都生物所始终坚持面向世界科技前沿、面向国家重大需求、面向国民经济主战场,致力于生物多样性保育与生态环境建设、生物资源高效可持续利用、食品-人类健康-水资源安全中的科学前沿问题和重大技术瓶颈,开展基础性、战略性和前瞻性科学研究、技术研发与集成。为国家经济建设、生态文明建设,为乡村振兴战略、“一带一路”倡议、长江上游生态屏障建设,提供科学基础、技术支撑与决策依据,为建设世界科技强国以及富强民主文明和谐美丽中国贡献力量。
建所以来,成都生物所承担了重点研发计划、重大科技专项、科技支撑计划、973、863、自然科学基金等一大批国家级科研项目。获得了包括国家科学技术奖等在内的300余项科研成果,为长江上游生态建设和生物多样性保护做出了重要贡献,以“地奥心血康”为代表的众多科技成果成功实现产业化,有力地推动了国家和地方社会经济发展。与众多国际组织以及美、德、英、法、俄罗斯、克罗地亚等20余个国家和地区的大学和科研机构建立了良好的合作关系,与国内众多高校、科研院所、企业建立了紧密的战略伙伴关系。
