中国科学院上海有机化学研究所(简称上海有机所)是集基础研究、应用研究和高技术创新研究为一体的综合性化学研究机构,创建于1950年5月,是中国科学院首批成立的15个研究所之一,前身是建立于1928年7月的前中央研究院化学研究所。从开展抗生素和高分子化学的研究起步,经过70年几代人艰苦创业、奋力拼搏,在以有机化学研究为中心的基础研究、应用研究与高新技术开发、人才培养等方面均取得令人瞩目的成就。在中国“两弹一星”研制、“人工合成牛胰岛素、人工合成酵母丙氨酸转移核糖核酸”和“物理有机化学中的两个基本问题:自由基化学中取代基离域参数和有机分子簇集概念”等一批攀登科技高峰的重要成果中,我所科研人员作出了重要贡献。
