中国科学院合肥物质科学研究院(以下简称合肥研究院)是中国科学院所属最大的综合性科研机构之一,位于合肥市蜀山区科学岛,面积2.65平方公里。由安光所、等离子体所、固体所、智能所、强磁场中心、核能安全所、健康所7个研究单元组成。与地方政府共建了6个成果转化平台。现有职工约2700名,领军人才如两院院士、海内外高层次人才、国家杰出青年基金获得者、国家重点研发计划首席科学家、关键技术人才等300余人。设有5个博士后流动站、19个博士点和21个硕士点,在学研究生约3100名。拥有30多个国家或省部级重点实验室和研究中心,以及10多个大型实验平台。
合肥研究院的科研方向包括等离子体物理、磁约束核聚变工程、大气环境光学遥感、激光与光电子科学技术、强磁场科学与技术、环境科学与工程、先进核能、生物物理、转化医学、先进诊疗技术、材料科学与工程、人工智能与机器人、智慧农业技术等,并取得了诸多重大科研成果。
作为科研实力雄厚的大型综合性科研基地,合肥研究院是国家创新人才培养示范基地、国家示范型国际科技合作基地、国家双创示范基地等。已经建成并运行了两个国家大科学装置,分别为:全超导托卡马克核聚变实验装置、稳态强磁场实验装置,正在建设第三个大科学装置—聚变堆主机关键系统综合研究设施。此外,大气环境立体探测设施、强光磁集成实验设施正在开展预研工作。
Hefei Institute of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as Hefei Institute) is one of the largest comprehensive scientific research institutions affiliated to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is located in Science Island, Shushan District, Hefei City, covering an area of 2.65 square kilometers. It consists of seven research units, namely, the Anguang Institute, the Plasma Institute, the Solid Institute, the Intelligent Institute, the High Magnetic Field Center, the Nuclear Safety Institute and the Health Institute. Six platforms have been jointly built with local governments to transform results. There are more than 300 leading talents, such as academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, high-level talents at home and abroad, winners of National Outstanding Youth Fund, chief scientists of National key research and development programs, and key technical talents. It has 5 post-doctoral research stations, 19 doctoral programs and 21 master programs, and has about 3,100 graduate students. It has more than 30 national or provincial key laboratories and research centers, as well as more than 10 large-scale experimental platforms.
The research fields of the Institute include plasma physics, magnetic confinement fusion Engineering, atmospheric optical Remote sensing, Laser and optoelectronics Science and Technology, High Magnetic Field Science and Technology, Environmental Science and Engineering, Advanced nuclear energy, biophysics, translational medicine, advanced diagnosis and treatment technology, materials Science and engineering, artificial intelligence and robotics, intelligent agriculture technology, etc. And has made many important scientific research achievements.
As a large comprehensive research base with strong scientific research strength, Hefei Research Institute is a national demonstration base for training innovative talents, a national demonstration base for international scientific and technological cooperation, and a national demonstration base for mass entrepreneurship and innovation. Two national scientific facilities have been built and are in operation, namely, the fully superconducting Tokamak nuclear fusion experimental facility and the steady-state high-magnetic field experimental facility. The third major scientific facility, the integrated research facility for the key system of the main engine of the fusion reactor, is under construction. In addition, the three-dimensional atmospheric environment detection facilities and high-light magnetic integrated experimental facilities are being pre-researched.
