Wageningen University's Institute for Food and Biobase is active in generating new insights and developing new technologies, supporting companies, governments and other research institutions to create innovative solutions for a healthier, more sustainable and prosperous world, collaborating to create and produce healthy, tasty foods and truly sustainable food chains, and developing chemicals and materials that use biomass rather than fossil resources. An in-depth understanding of the whole chain, from raw materials to processing to final products, has driven the expansion of research methods.
