Solutions to issues such as food supply, climate change and economic sustainability are all areas of research at Wageningen University's Institute for the Environment, a leading research institute for green living environments dedicated to nature-based solutions for a greener world. The Institute offers a portfolio of practical, innovative and interdisciplinary scientific research in many disciplines related to the green world around humanity and the sustainable use of the living environment. The environmental aspects of focus include soil, water, atmosphere, landscape and biodiversity on a global scale.
The Environment Institute includes 17 University Chair groups, ISRIC and statutory research missions on Nature and Environment.
