中国科学院生态环境研究中心(简称生态环境中心)始建于1975年,时为国务院批准成立的中国科学院环境化学研究所,1986年与中国科学院生态学研究中心(筹)合并,建立中国科学院生态环境研究中心,是中国第一个全国性生态环境领域综合性研究机构。
生态环境中心围绕“国家生态环境安全与可持续发展”战略定位,充分发挥生态环境中心环境科学、环境工程和生态学三大学科的综合优势,围绕国家环境保护与生态建设的重大科技需求和国际生态环境科学前沿,不断突破支撑国家生态安全、环境健康和可持续发展的重大科学理论与关键技术,为我国生态文明建设、环境治理与生态保护、实现人与自然的和谐发展做出基础性、战略性、前瞻性创新贡献,努力成为中国生态环境科学应用基础研究和技术创新基地、高级专门人才培养基地,国内领先、国际一流的生态环境综合性研究机构。
生态环境中心主要学科方向为:持久性有毒污染物的环境过程与控制、环境污染的健康风险、污染水体修复与饮用水安全保障技术、人与自然耦合机制、城市与区域可持续发展理论与对策、环境生物技术的理论与应用。力争在环境污染的健康效应与危害机制、饮用水复合污染机理、过程与控制、生态系统服务形成机理和生态效益评估等三个领域取得重大突破;重点培养新型污染物的识别及毒性效应、京津冀环境多介质复合污染协同削减与调控、城市化的生态环境效应与生态管理、大气污染成因与关键污染物控制技术、环境纳米材料与污染控制、污染物定向生物转化、固体废弃物资源化利用技术等方向。
The Research Center for Eco-Environment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CIEC) was founded in 1975 as the Institute of Environmental Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences approved by The State Council. In 1986, it merged with the Research Center for Ecology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (preparation) to establish the Research Center for Eco-Environment of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CIEC), which is China's first national comprehensive research institute in the field of eco-environment.
Centering on the strategic positioning of "national ecological and environmental security and sustainable development", the Center gives full play to the comprehensive advantages of the three disciplines of environmental science, environmental engineering and ecology of the Center, and focuses on the major scientific and technological needs of national environmental protection and ecological construction and the frontier of international ecological and environmental science. Constantly breaking through major scientific theories and key technologies supporting national ecological security, environmental health and sustainable development, making basic, strategic and forward-looking innovative contributions to China's ecological civilization construction, environmental governance and ecological protection, and harmonious development between man and nature. It strives to become China's base for basic research and technological innovation of ecological and environmental science applications, the base for training senior professionals, and a leading domestic and world-class comprehensive research institute on ecological and environmental sciences.
The main disciplines of the Center are: Environmental process and control of persistent toxic pollutants, health risks of environmental pollution, contaminated water restoration and drinking water safety technology, coupling mechanism between man and nature, urban and regional sustainable development theory and countermeasures, theory and application of environmental biotechnology. Strive to make major breakthroughs in three areas: the health effect and harm mechanism of environmental pollution, the mechanism of drinking water combined pollution, the process and control, the formation mechanism of ecosystem services and the evaluation of ecological benefits; The training focuses on the identification and toxic effects of new pollutants, coordinated reduction and regulation of multi-media composite environmental pollution in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, ecological environmental effects and ecological management of urbanization, causes of air pollution and key pollutant control technologies, environmental nanomaterials and pollution control, directional biotransformation of pollutants, solid waste resource utilization technologies, etc.
