中国科学院理化技术研究所组建于1999年6月,是以原中国科学院感光化学研究所、低温技术实验中心为主体,联合北京人工晶体研究发展中心和化学研究所的相关部分整合而成。
设有物理学、化学、动力工程及工程热物理3个一级学科博士、硕士研究生培养点,化学工程与技术一级学科硕士研究生培养点,材料学二级学科博士、硕士研究生培养点,能源动力、电子信息、材料与化工3个专业学位硕士研究生培养点,化学、物理学、动力工程及工程热物理3个一级学科博士后流动站。
理化所是以物理、化学和工程技术为学科背景,以高科技创新和成果转移转化研究为职责使命的研究机构。主要研究领域为光化学转换与功能材料、低温科学与工程、功能晶体与激光技术、仿生智能界面材料、特种功能材料与生物医用技术。
Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, was founded in June 1999. It is based on the former Institute of Photochemistry of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Experimental Center of Cryogenic Technology as the main body, and the integration of the Beijing IOL Research and Development Center and the related parts of the Institute of Chemistry.
It has three first-level disciplines of physics, Chemistry, power engineering and engineering thermal physics, first-level disciplines of chemical engineering and technology, second-level disciplines of materials science, doctoral and master's degree training centers for energy and power, electronic information, materials and chemical engineering. Riken is a research institution with the discipline background of physics, chemistry and engineering technology, and the responsibility and mission of high-tech innovation and research on the transfer and transformation of achievements. His research fields include photochemical conversion and functional materials, cryogenic science and engineering, functional crystals and laser technology, biomimetic intelligent interface materials, special functional materials and biomedical technology.
