The Campbell Institute for Public Affairs, based at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University, brings together faculty members from the fields of political science and public administration, and collaborating research leaders, including historians, philosophers, anthropologists and public health scholars, citizens, private organizations and governments to understand and provide action-based advice for effective public administration and policy. And encourage citizens to participate, enhance the awareness of civil rights and management, actively participate in the management of public utilities. Through rigorous academic research, debate, and public engagement, the Campbell Institute is committed to studying the concept of citizenship, its evolution, and the conditions under which it thrives. Students benefit from a rich learning experience by assisting faculty with research, participating in live events, and interacting with guest speakers. Campbell's lecture series brings together people with diverse perspectives and interests to open up dialogue, promote understanding and empower knowledge. The research scope of the Institute includes sociology, economics, political science and philosophy, and promotes the development of research related to public service management through interdisciplinary research.
