The central vision is to achieve sustainable agriculture in arid and semi-arid regions, developing knowledge, technologies and products to increase the yield and quality of agricultural products while protecting the environment. GCASAR promotes agricultural research collaboration in semi-arid and arid environments, working with researchers from the Netherlands, the United States, Thailand, China, Germany, Spain, Italy, Greece and other countries to develop solutions for current and future crises such as climate change, water quality and availability, desertification and soil degradation.
