中国科学院上海技术物理研究所(简称上海技物所)创建于1958年10月,是集基础研究、工程技术研发和高新技术产业化为一体的综合型研究机构。上海技物所以红外物理与光电技术研究为定位,以红外光电新材料、新器件、新方法等作为主要研究方向,重点发展先进的航空航天有效载荷、红外凝视成像及信号处理、红外焦平面及遥感信息处理等技术。
上海技物所着眼于国家重大战略需求,针对相关技术领域的特点,已形成具有自身特色的、覆盖“基础前沿—核心组部件—系统集成”完整研发体系。设有研究室13个,建有红外物理国家重点实验室、传感技术联合国家重点实验室(光传感器专业点)、中科院红外成像材料与器件重点实验室、中科院红外探测与成像技术重点实验室、中科院空间主动光电技术重点实验室、中科院智能红外感知重点实验室以及省部共建现场物证光学探测技术联合实验室。
上海技物所是国务院学位委员会批准的首批博士、硕士学位授予单位之一。2021年,上海技物所有在研项目431项(其中,工程型号类101项、基础预研类330项)。上海技物所是中国空间科学学会空间遥感专业委员会、中国光学工程学会红外与光电器件专业委员会、中国遥感应用协会高光谱遥感技术与应用委员会、上海市传感技术学会的挂靠单位。研究所编辑出版《红外与毫米波学报》、《红外》等学术期刊。
Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIST), founded in October 1958, is a comprehensive research institution integrating basic research, engineering technology research and development and high-tech industrialization. Shanghai Institute of Technology is one of the first batch of institutions approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of The State Council to confer doctor's and master's degrees. In 2021, there were 431 projects under research in Shanghai Institute of Technology (101 in engineering model category and 330 in basic pre-research category). Shanghai Institute of Technology is an affiliated unit of Space Remote Sensing Committee of Chinese Space Science Society, Infrared and Optoelectronic Device Committee of Chinese Optical Engineering Society, Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Technology and Application Committee of China Remote Sensing Application Association, and Shanghai Sensing Technology Society. The institute edited and published the Journal of Infrared and Millimeter Wave, Infrared and other academic journals.
