Our goal is to develop AI technologies that can change the healthcare landscape. This includes early diagnosis, drug discovery, personalization and management of care. Building on MIT's pioneering history in artificial intelligence and life sciences, we are working on new algorithms for modeling biological and clinical data across a range of patterns, including imaging, text, and genomics. While achieving this goal, we strive to make new discoveries in machine learning, biology, chemistry and clinical sciences. Another defining feature: our emphasis on translating our discoveries into technologies that can improve people's lives. To achieve this mission, we support research and education activities in ai/healthcare, as well as partnerships with hospitals, industry partners and foundations that share a common vision.
