中国科学院大连化学物理研究所(简称“大连化物所”)创建于1949年3月,当时定名为“大连大学科学研究所”,1961年底更名为“中国科学院化学物理研究所”,1970年正式定名为“中国科学院大连化学物理研究所”。重点学科领域为催化化学、工程化学、化学激光和分子反应动力学以及近代分析化学和生物技术,是一个基础研究与应用研究并重、应用研究和技术转化相结合,以任务带学科为主要特色的综合性研究所。
大连化物所通过不断积累和调整,逐步形成了自己的科研特色,成为中国科学院知识创新工程首批试点单位之一,围绕国家能源发展战略,加强技术集成创新,以可持续发展的能源研究为主导,坚持资源环境优化、生物技术和先进材料创新协调发展,在国民经济和国家安全中发挥不可替代的作用,创建世界一流研究所。
大连化物所,于2011年10月启动了我国能源领域筹建的第一个国家实验室,设有燃料电池、生物能源、化石能源与应用催化、节能与环境、低碳催化与工程、太阳能、储能技术、氢能与先进材料、能源基础和战略、能源材料(筹)、能源战略研究中心、能源研究技术平台等11个研究部和1个研究平台。与国外著名大学、公司和研究机构联合设立了中法催化联合实验室、中法可持续能源联合实验室、中德催化纳米技术伙伴小组、DICP-BP能源创新实验室、DICP-SABIC先进化学品生产研究中心和中法分子筛联合实验室等十几个国际合作研究机构。
大连化物所以加强能源战略研究,坚持基础研究与应用研究并重,在化石资源优化利用、化学能高效转化、可再生能源等洁净能源领域,持续提供重大创新性理论和技术成果,满足国家战略需求,保障人民健康为使命。自建所以来,培养出若干享誉国内外的科学家及一大批高素质研究和技术人才。
The Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the "Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics") was founded in March 1949 as the "Institute of Scientific Research of Dalian University", renamed the "Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences" at the end of 1961, and officially named "Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences" in 1970. The key disciplines are catalytic chemistry, engineering chemistry, chemical laser and molecular reaction kinetics, as well as modern analytical chemistry and biotechnology, which is a comprehensive research institute that attaches equal importance to basic research and applied research, combines applied research and technology transformation, and takes the task belt discipline as the main feature.
Through continuous accumulation and adjustment, Dalian Institute of Chemicals has gradually formed its own scientific research characteristics, becoming one of the first batch of pilot units of the knowledge innovation project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, focusing on the national energy development strategy, strengthening technological integration and innovation, taking sustainable energy research as the leading, adhering to the coordinated development of resource and environment optimization, biotechnology and advanced material innovation, playing an irreplaceable role in the national economy and national security, and creating a world-class research institute.
Dalian Institute of Chemicals launched the first national laboratory in the field of energy in China in October 2011, with 11 research departments and 1 research platform, including fuel cells, bioenergy, fossil energy and applied catalysis, energy conservation and environment, low-carbon catalysis and engineering, solar energy, energy storage technology, hydrogen energy and advanced materials, energy foundation and strategy, energy materials (preparation), energy strategic research center, and energy research technology platform. With well-known foreign universities, companies and research institutions, more than a dozen international cooperation research institutions have been established, such as the Sino-French Joint Laboratory for Catalysis, the Sino-French Joint Laboratory for Sustainable Energy, the Sino-German Catalytic Nanotechnology Partnership Group, the DICP-BP Energy Innovation Laboratory, the DICP-SABIC Advanced Chemical Production Research Center and the Sino-French Molecular Sieve Joint Laboratory.
Dalian Chemicals Institute strengthens energy strategy research, adheres to the principle of attaching equal importance to basic research and applied research, and continues to provide major innovative theoretical and technological achievements in the fields of clean energy such as optimal utilization of fossil resources, efficient conversion of chemical energy, and renewable energy, so as to meet the national strategic needs and protect the health of the people. Since its establishment, it has trained a number of well-known scientists at home and abroad and a large number of high-quality research and technical personnel.
