Founded in 2016 by climate scientist Peter de Menocal, it is a research and education program at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory that promotes new research and collaboration led by expert scientists from Lamont, the International Institute for Climate and Society and NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Research. Innovatively promote the application of climate science research in the five aspects of food, water, shelter, energy and marine health, and provide scientific research results to reduce the social and economic risks brought by climate.
