西安交通大学金禾经济研究中心(Jinhe Center for Economic Research，简称JCER)创建于1997年6月，是西安交通大学与美籍华人郭誉森教授、台胞胡春田教授等一批来自台湾中研院、台大等经济学知名教授合作创办的经济学教学与科研中心。坚持以培养现代经济学家为宗旨，本着高起点、高水平的要求，招收有志探索社会运行深层规律与伦理正义、为国家研究设计顶层制度，或成就国富民强的大事业、或凭真本事发现并创造价值的有志青年男女，来攻读原汁原味的经济学。
金禾中心以海峡两岸知名学者为纽带，聘请海内外著名教授，采用与世界知名大学接轨的培养方案，主要师资团队由常任师资和海外访问教授群组成。在学生培养方面，采用与世界知名大学经济学课程设置接轨的培养方案，借鉴以上课、考试与论文质量为主的成功培养模式。
金禾经济研究中心秉承“办中国最纯的经济学教育机构、培育致力于中国国富的精英经济学家”的办学初衷，充分发挥海内外学者共同办学的优势，以培育具有深邃思想与创新能力的经济学家为导向，肩负起大国崛起赋予我们的历史使命，推动具有中国特色的理论和应用经济学学科的发展。

Founded in June 1997, the Jinhe Center for Economic Research (JCER) of Xi'an Jiaotong University is an economics teaching and research center founded by Xi'an Jiaotong University in cooperation with a group of well-known professors of economics from Taiwan's Academia Sinica and National Taiwan University, including Prof. Guo Yusen, a Chinese-American, and Professor Hu Chuntian, a Taiwanese compatriot. Adhere to the purpose of cultivating modern economists, in line with the high starting point and high level requirements, recruit young men and women who are interested in exploring the deep laws and ethical justice of social operation, designing a top-level system for national research, or achieving the great cause of making the country rich and the people strong, or discovering and creating value based on their real ability, to study original economics.
Jinhe Center takes well-known scholars on both sides of the Taiwan Strait as the link, employs famous professors at home and abroad, adopts a training program that is in line with world-renowned universities, and the main teaching team is composed of permanent teachers and overseas visiting professors. In terms of student training, we adopt a training program that is in line with the economics curriculum of world-renowned universities, and draw on a successful training model based on the quality of classes, examinations and papers.
Jinhe Economic Research Center adheres to the original intention of "running China's purest economic education institution and cultivating elite economists who are committed to China's national wealth", gives full play to the advantages of scholars at home and abroad in running schools together, is oriented to cultivating economists with profound thinking and innovative ability, shoulders the historical mission entrusted to us by the rise of great powers, and promotes the development of theoretical and applied economic disciplines with Chinese characteristics.
